A new research report sent by KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi-Kuo to investors includes the probable Apple iPhone 6 specifications. Kou is very accurate when it comes to predicting about Apple products.
According to the report sent on Thursday, a major noticeable change in iPhone 6 will be the placement of sleep/wake button. The sleep/wake button will be placed on the side instead of top of the iPhone. He is also sure that Apple will be releasing two different sizes of iPhones, 4.7-inch and a 5.5-inch iPhone.
The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 will have a Retina display screen with a resolution of 1334x750 pixels with a pixel density of 326 ppi while the larger 5.5-inch phablet will have a Retina display screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels with a pixel density of 401 ppi.
Both the iPhone 6 models are believed to get the new A8 processor, 1GB of RAM, Touch ID and to have a narrower bezel. They are also predicted to be as thin as 7.0mm. Kuo also feels that Apple might finally embed the NFC chips in iPhone 6.
The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 might be able to be handled using a single hand but it will be interesting to see if Apple could come up with something revolutionary which would allow users to handle the iPhone 6 phablet model in a single hand.
It is predicted that only high end iPhones - 64GB 5.5" iPhone 6 will get the much anticipated sapphire glass. The camera is expected to be the same 8 megapixels camera with f2.2 aperture which is seen on iPhone 5S but might include the optical image stabilization technology to enhance the picture quality.
